Phats Love - So I Write

So I write
I write about my love for you
the feelings that occur while

I go through this motions
of not having you besides me when
I awake in the mornings

and knowing that the only thing that matters
in the end
is the love you have for me

I write
I write about my kids
and how to go about trying to make

there lives easier
to show then that I love them
more then they can imagine

I write
I write about my life
that seems to be falling apart

all around me
my mind that seems to poison
every good thought

every hopeful motive
all my faith and trust
that I had inside myself

so now
I try
I try to understand his problems
and know that I cant help him with it
but still keep in mind that he

loves me
in hopes that he will return to me
I try

to spend all my time with my kids
and not wander off into my own
private hell

and show them everyday that I DO love them
I try
to keep my faith in God

and believe that he has a plan that will suit me
so until then
I will focus on all the things I lack

This has gotta be the hardest thing and most difficult
moment in my life
to actually do something for myself

that will benefit me and my life
all my years was taking care and worrying about
everyone and everything else

making sure that everyone else was happy
I thought that all ended
only come to realize that im still the same

this is for him
my love, the other half that makes me whole
my bestest friend Randy

I love you so
just to hear those words come outta your mouth
it feels so good

the littlest things like the words
i love you too
can heal any broken heart
