Pfizer says a booster shot likely needed within a year

The head of Pfizer says people may need to get a third booster shot of it's COVID vaccine within 12 months and they could need one each year after. Initial data has shown that vaccines from Moderna and partners Pfizer and Biontech retain most of their effectiveness for at least 6 months.
