Pfizer/Biontech African Deal
Description
On Wednesday, biopharmaceutical companies Pfizer ($PFE@US) and BioNTech ($BNTX@US) agreed to a deal with South Africa’s Blovac Institute to begin distributing their COVID-19 vaccine to the African Union in early 2022. Shares of Pfizer were trading down 0.04% at press time while BioNTech was trading 5.7% higher.
