Petroliam Nasional Bhd has taken steps to explore new growth areas beyond conventional oil and gas to cater to the growing demand for more sustainable energy sources.
Speaking at the World Economic Forum’s roundtable discussion on Malaysia’s energy landscape on Wednesday, Petronas president and group CEO Tan Sri Wan Zulkiflee Wan Ariffin said the oil and gas company is considering viable investments in renewable energy namely solar, wind and biomass on a commercial scale.
