Peter Generazio - Gift from God

Because of stress, my peronality started to change.

I stopped praying, slowly I turned into the person I despised.

By letting everyday life get to me,
until the day that I have realized.

I have shut God out of my life,
especially when I needed him the most,
I really have hurt the ones that I truely love.

I knew I had to let God back into my life,
I needed that help from up above.

I am so grateful that I have realized what was going on,

I begged God for help, and he shed some ligh a certain way.

I started to realize the most impotant thing in life,
are love kindness, family, friends and to be giving.

I slowly started to change,
by giving my will to him,
which gave me another chance of living.

I can't believe that I let myself get that way,
but now I have gotten myself on track,
I have been giving my time to those in need;

Which has made me even more grateful,
because I know that God has planted a seed;

I try to treat others the way I want to be treated;

I now have this wonderful feeling deep inside,
not that feeling of being defeated.
