Peter Bibby: Laneway Festival Interview (Part Two)

Recently, the AU review sat down with the guitar-wielding, Melbourne-dwelling, Peter Bibby, at this year’s Laneway Festival. In part one of this two-part interview we discuss touring with fellow Laneway artist Mac Demarco’s mum and playing Big Sound 2014.

Here in part two of our Laneway interview with Perth native, Peter Bibby, we discuss Texan festival, South By South West, where Bibby is set to play seven sets within five days. We go on to talk about the creation of his debut emotional album, Butcher/Hairstylist/Beautician, and the surprising reception Bibby experienced upon touring in the USA for the first time. Continuing the American theme, Bibby reveals his future plans to record in America and finishes up by describing the genesis of his band.
