If the stars were aligned
In a line, single filed
I'd go to see you
At least for the while

I am within these chains
And I cannot break out
No one hears me cry
No one hears me shout

Hiding within the comfort of my knife
Feeling it press against my skin
Frightening the fabric of my soul
And the fabric of my sin

Watching scarlet liquid
Drip down my arm
Releasing the knife from my grasp
Will save me from harm

Now in the darkness
I see your face
But sadly, I am chained
I cannot leave this place
