Perveiz Ali - Spring

Spring blooms, banishing Winter,
Time to bring out sweet laughter.

Decorate the land, no more icy crust,
Mother nature nourishes our trust.

Colours spring forth and we cherish,
This time of year all things flourish.

Peasants go out to work with hope,
All feel refreshed, no more tightrope.

All are ready to enjoy the joys of life,
No longer dwelling on Winter's strife.

Spring comes to radiate nourishment
Would that all drank of it's enlightment.
