Peru: Judicial Workers on Strike

For the second day, workers in the nation’s judicial system are striking to demand higher wages and better working conditions. They are protesting a case overload and lack of adequate equipment to do their jobs. Citizens seeking justice in Peru’s judicial system have often criticized long, drawn-out processes, and say that the current strike will further delay these processes.
