Peru - A human tragedy

In the wake of last week's earthquake in Peru, the body count continues to rise and has already passed 500. Locals are left without food, and water, their homes destroyed, and are forced to live in the streets.Meanwhile the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has succeeded in contacting all but forty Israelis, who could be traveling in the more remote areas of Peru where there is no cellular phone or internet reception.08/19/07
