Nationally acclaimed evangelist John Luther is the last obstacle in the way of sweeping religious reform in the States. Dafür benötigt man jedoch unbedingt die Zustimmung des berühmten Evangelisten John Luther. Der jedoch ist gegen das neue Gesetz und kann eine Zustimmung weder mit seinem Gewissen noch Glauben vereinbaren. Kurzerhand beschließen darauf führende Befürworter des Gesetzes, Luther einen Prostituiertenmord anzuhängen und in so zu diskreditieren.
