Peres And Abbas Jointly Condemn Jerusalem Terror Attack

The terror attack in Jerusalem occurred in the midst of a meeting between President Shimon Peres and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas who convened to discuss peace talks when news of the attack was received. The two leaders immediately held a joint press conference to condemn the attack and for the first time Abbas labelled the perpetrator of Tuesday's attack as a terrorist and declared such acts harm the interests of both sides.07/22/08
