Penang shooting suspect charged

A personal bodyguard has been charged with the murder of three people, in a shootout at the Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu Expressway in Penang earlier this month.

37-year-old Ja'far Halid was today charged in three different courts in Georgetown, on nine counts of murder, attempted murder and voluntarily causing hurt.
