Pelican Glide Through With Their Perfect Water Reflection

PELICANS PICTURED REFLECTING ON SHINY WATERS

Mesmerising images and footage capture Dalmatian pelicans gliding low over glass-like water, their reflections so clear they appear to float between sky and lake.
The scenes were filmed by wildlife photographer Nick Dale, 56, from London, UK, at Lake Kerkini in northern Greece.
In the clips, flocks of pelicans can be seen drifting across the still lake, while others swoop down to catch fish, creating ripples that briefly break the mirror-like surface.
One playful moment shows a curious pelican stretching its head towards the boat as it passes by, adds to the spectacle as it moves gracefully across the water.
Nick, who has been photographing wildlife since 2013, often uses reflections to create striking and unusual compositions, turning familiar scenes into something more artistic.
For him, capturing these moments is about patience and constantly seeking new perspectives.
