PBS Anonymouse - Suicide Contagious

Cold wet days pass right through me
the darkness never turns to light you see

I cant think straight anymore tonight
things just dont seem quite right

since my best friends mom placed that chilling call
telling me that he decided to end it all

lost and confused turned outside in
his days became nights his nights full of sin

A lost soul wandering where no one dares
full of sad faces empty stares

once he told me that he was scared
I laughed at him not to think he dared

now I contemplate dressed in black
how to find him bring him back

there is only one way there is no return
So I took the drink and it began to burn

things felt right for a minute or two
now I am scared but what can I do

Look at me Mr. Super Courageous
who drank the drink of Suicide contagious

suicide contagious is just an excuse
if it is your only reason to tie the noose

ot take the knife to cut the vein
or drink the drink to end the pain
