PayPal Shares Fall After Q3 Report
Description
PayPal ($PYPL@US) shares fell 13 percent in aftermarket trading on Thursday after its third-quarter earnings report showed cuts to its revenue outlook. The company expected full-year revenue for 2022 to increase by around 8.5 percent compared to the 18 percent growth it shared with investors last November. PayPal also announced the repurchase of $939 million of stock and closer ties with Apple ($AAPL@US) that could benefit PayPal and Venmo merchants and consumers.
