My chains are not made from the hardest steel
But still they bind
My chains have no links of wrought iron,
That I can find

My chains are without a Jailer
My chains have no lock and key
No sign of prison walls
But still they imprison me

My chains are made of far worse things
Than a sentence of 100 years
These chains are eternal and endless
For these chains are made of my fears
