Paula Patton files for divorce

Paula Patton has filed for divorce from singer Robin Thicke. The ending for the Hollywood couple comes after months of separation, with "irreconcilable differences" cited as the reason behind the split.

Thicke had made several public attempts at getting Patton back, including naming his last album "Paula," after reports of marital infidelity had surfaced.

The couple, who wed in 2005, have a 4-year-old son together.

Punk rock band Green Day, singer Sting and rocker Joan Jett are among the 2015 nominees announced on Thursday (October 09) for induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
