My life seems empty
It feels like a lie
As if everybody sees me
But not who I am inside

It feels like there is no use
No hope, no dreams
Every tight end is suddenly loose
There is nothing to achieve it seems

I wish I knew why I feel like this
Why I don't feel like trying anymore
I wish I didn't feel cast out into the abyss
I wish I knew what I am for

It’s like a literal hole inside my chest
Gaping and reaching for something more
I fear it will always be searching, lest
I find that, for which I am looking for
