Description
One thought out of place and her face streams with tears.
It’s hard to be friends with a cripple of this kind
When the trouble is not physical, but deep in the mind.
She’s fun and exciting and appears quite keen
But suffers badly from low self-esteem.
Not waiting for insults, she gets them in first
So for her, the bubble, you can never burst.
How do we train her to think like the rest
And make her believe she’s one of the best.
You can try to tell her till you’re blue in the face
But only she can decide to join the human race.
Don’t knock yourself down, life is really to short
With guilt from the past, don’t give it a thought.
Now relax with the people that just want to be friends
Then on them you will see, you can always depend.
