Paul Sebastian - Make Today Count

It is fruitless to furrow into the past
Let mistakes and failures, there rust!
Neither could I there, plant new seeds
Future is barren, nothing there, breeds!
Present is here, to till, plough and sow
I'll sweat by my brow, for better morrow!

Today, I will labour, investing my future interest
In due season, fruit of my labour, I will harvest
My laboured hands would pluck the fruits
Of joy, contentment, peace: life benefits
I'll hold on to this dream and press on
Someday, to inherit would be my son

I will not let this day slip through my hands
I will till, plough and care on my present land
For the morrow would bring me, my abundance
Today's investment is my morrow's inheritance.
