This bar has a great location and is the first gogo you pass from the start of Walking Street. It seems to be doing well as they were always busy on this trip and judging by the extra security guys at the front blocking passers by from taking photos. \r

Inside Taboo there is no raised central dance dance floor, and its more of a hostess type bar with random girls dancing around. It has a different vibe from the normal gogo bar format so is worth a look if youre after a bit of variety. \r

Fire at Rock Street live music bar\r

A fire occurred at Rock Street around 8am one morning in March 2017. Nobody was hurt as no-one was around at that time. Original reports pointed to a big electrical box exploding causing the blaze. The official word later was that a squirrel was responsible :)\r

This jail themed bar was by far the largest gogo in Pattaya (if not the world). Consequently, it lacked atmosphere even when it was busy and on my last few trips it seemed business wasnt as brisk as usual. \r

The sign for Miami says Soi 15 / Walking Street so its unclear at this point what the bar will be. TBH a nightclub might be a good idea for a venue of that size. \r

Fahrenheit Agogo\r

A lot of Pattaya gogo bars can be hit or miss due to a lot of the dancers being on 10 day contrs. So bars like Fahrenheit can be really good or bad depending on the lineup. \r
\r
My advice is dont be shy to pop your head through the curtain of Pattayas gogo bars. Have quick a look inside, and decide to stay or leave depending on if you like what you see or not. Also, try to sit where you like rather than be seated by the service staff who might not give you a favourable view of the stage. \r

Lucifer Disco and Muzzik cafe\r

Looks like they did a great renovation and killed 2 birds with one stone having a great nightclub inside and a popular live band near the front playing current hits. Both places were very busy on this night. \r

Construction work near Soi BJ\r
\r
There was work on a big complex of bars, restaurants etc. but seems like things have halted and the dead space is very noticeable now. Hopefully they can finish whatever it is they are building as soon as possible to give a bit of life to the area. \r

Hot Tuna bar live band sounding tight\r

Sometimes I think that people should be paying an admission fee for the Hot Tuna bar as some of the bands that play there are so good. If you like classic and heavy rock, forget all the rest of the Pattaya live music venues and simply head to Hot Tuna. You can even request songs for a 100 baht tip for the band which is a great deal :)\r
