In Autumn 2012 Piotr Madej locked himself for two months in his room, where a using a single microphone, a computer and several instruments, recorded his debut album called "Something of an End". Piotr's music is an outcome of his many inspirations from Iceland, cool beauty, by discreet nods in the direction of progressive UK 70s to contemporary Americana and alternative country music. Immediately after the release Piotr began working with musicians who are now co-creating together the band of Patrick The Pan. In July 2013, the band played at the Open'er Festival in Gdynia. It was only the fourth concert in their career.

Piotr Madej jesienią 2012 roku na dwa miesiące zamknął się w swoim pokoju, gdzie za pomocą jednego mikrofonu, komputera i kilku instrumentów nagrał swoją debiutancką płytę "Something of an End". Muzyka Piotrka to wypadkowa jego wielu inspiracji od islandzkiego, chłodnego piękna, przez dyskretne ukłony w stronę progresywnej Wielkiej Brytanii lat 70-tych, aż po współczesną americanę i alternatywne country. Zaraz po wydaniu płyty Piotr nawiązał współpracę z muzykami, którzy w tej chwili współtworzą wraz z nim zespół Patrick the Pan. W lipcu 2013 roku zespół zagrał na festiwalu Open'er w Gdyni. Był to zaledwie czwarty koncert w ich karierze.
