i lost who i was once
in this monster i've become
i've started the war of my heart
but i need it to be done

cause the war inside is killing me
and this could be the end
not one solid hope to lean on
or even one solid friend

the world inside is crumbling down
destroyed by the missiles of deceit
as my heart struggles to live
gently at my feet

now without my heart
all seems lost and dead
despair and the darkness is all around
the monster inside is fed

but i need to kill the monster
the monster i've come to despise
the monster that i have become
the moster that spread the lies
