In the beginning God created the heaven and the earths
It is said on the seventh day he rested
I believe he was not tired or’ the creations of nature and the world
But of the ones he placed here on earth

You see he spun golden friendship into some
Adding unconditional love
Then the heart of purest crystal
You see it had to shine

While his creation lay in the makings, deep thought was given by Him
Pureness as purity can be
A mind to make decisions filled with hope
A soul full of faith

A creation all would admire
And love just for who they are
Beauty that would lie farther that the skin
And …an added dose of charity

Now to name his prize creation
One all would remember from near and far
From this life to the next
