PATRICE RUSHEN est une chanteuse américaine de jazz-soul et de funk-soul née PATRICE LOUISE RUSHEN le 30/09/1954 à Los Angeles en Californie.
En 1972, elle est dans le jazz band du lycée et se produit au Festival jazz de Monterey. Pianiste de renom, PATRICE joue en session pour JEAN-LUC PONTY, LEE RITENOUR et STANLEY TURRENTINE. PATRICE est surtout connue pour son légendaire "FORGET ME NOTS" (n°8 en GB, n°19 en Irlande, n°23 aux USA et n°24 aux Pays Bas).
