Description
Patna Museum was built in 1917 during the British Raj in the Indian state of Bihar. It was built to house the historical artifacts found in the district of Patna, it is locally known as Jadu Ghar because of its Mughal and Rajput.
This footage features the best of the exhibits within the Pataliputra gallery - lions heads, statues with huge busts, busts with broken noses, old jewellery, weapons, a wheel / charkha, engravings, sculptures, carvings, pots and cermanicware from Mohenjodaro and much more!
The items displayed in the museum are archaeological objects, coins, art objects, paintings, instruments, textiles, paintings, thankas, bronze images and sculptures and terra cotta images by Hindu and Buddhist artists. It also has a rare collection of British-period paintings depicting day-to-day life, as well as a fine collection related to the first President of India, Dr. Rajendra Prasad.
