Passenger Plane Crashes in Durango, Mexico

Mexican authorities blamed weather conditions for the crash of Aeromexico Flight 2431 in a field just outside Guadalupe Victoria Airport (Durango International) in Durango, Mexico, on July 31, with 97 passengers and four crew aboard.
AP reported that</a> Durango State Governor Jose Aispuro speaking at a press conference said a gust of wind had hit the Embraer 190 shortly after take-off causing the crash. The 103 passengers and crew had been evacuated safely from the aircraft with 49 taken to hospital for treatment.
