PAS: Palace had wanted two names

PAS lawmaker Khalid Samad today revealed that sources within the Selangor palace had wanted two potential candidates for the menteri besar post, so that the Sultan has a choice.

The Shah Alam MP adds that the Selangor MB should come from PKR, as a PAS representative would most likely become menteri besar in several other states where the Islamist party contests for the majority of seats.
