Party at the seaside as Blackpool come home
Description
Blackpool's footballing heroes were greeted by thousands of fans as they travelled on board an open-top bus for a victory parade along the town's famous promenade.
The Seasiders won promotion to the Premier League on Saturday after a thrilling encounter against Cardiff at Wembley.
Blackpool took more than 35,000 of their fans to London for the play-off final - a quarter of the town's population.
The game, which Ian Holloway's men won 3-2, was said to be worth £90 million to the Lancashire club.
And it will inevitably boost the bank balances of the resort's hoteliers, publicans and other workers in the tourist trade.
