'Parliament should function properly'

Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi on Monday (August 3) while speaking on the ongoing Parliament logjam said, "Since today is the first Monday of Sawan, some good news is expected. Congress party should understand they are not just stalling the parliament but also creating hindrance in the progress of nation." "We have been trying to discuss this for a long time, so as to solve the Parliament logjam problem. We are trying to have a discussion on this today as well. We want to make sure that the session should run smoothly and the country should move ahead on the path of progress," he noted. "Our only agenda is that the parliament should function properly," he added.
