Parable Poetry - Tulip
23 Views • Jun 11, 2014
Description
I see within you a beautiful vision.
Realizing one of my given duties,
sharing wisdom, such a great mission.
And tulips are truly kinda gay,
in a very different way than you.
Held down by roots, nothing they can do.
Held in your shell, you are the same way.
The tulip must wait for death to be free,
you have the choice, the moment you will be.
The tulip absorbs all this wisdom and light,
no escape, it will never win the fight.
Arrogance and ego your best protection,
ignorance radiates from your reflection.
Given all the makings for self illumination,
thoughts that you are better, your only fascination.
Become a tulip walking across the land,
strip your vain shell, giving others a hand.
Witness the glowing smile of the tulip,
shinning after you have removed the chip.
Take care, be kind to your fellow tulip,
offer your fresh water, if only a sip.
