Palestinian Students Defend Venezuelan Scholarship Program

An Associated Press report questioning the validity of a Venezuelan scholarship program for Palestinian students has elicited strong reactions. In Gaza, the Palestinian Student Association defended the program that will offer free education and training to 1000 Palestinian medical students in the field of medicine. The first group of students arrived in Caracas in December 2014 and were offered free university education, free housing, health insurance and a monthly stipend.
