Palestinian authority battle debt

The Palestinian Authority [PA] in Ramallah has a budget deficit of over 500 million dollars, and it's reached its borrowing limit -- taking over 1 billion dollars from the banks .

Officials say while they aim to reduce their dependency on foreign aid, at this stage they still rely on donors.

Al Jazeera spoke to people collecting their salaraies, they say they are stressed and angry about only receiving half. They are calling on the PA to solve this problem as quickly as possible.
