Palace commends LTO chief Torres

MANILA - A Palace spokesman on Monday said the Aquino administration is satisfied with the performance of Assistant Secretary Virginia Torres during her 3-year stint as head of the Land Transportation Office (LTO). Presidential spokesman Edwin Lacierda said Torres was able to perform her job as expected of her. Lacierda, however, could not say if one of the reasons for Torres' decision to leave was the controversy sparked by a video showing her at a casino. ANC NEWS NOW, October 7, 2013
