Pakistani doctor "in danger"
Description
Pakistani doctor Shakil Afridi helped the CIA track down Osama bin Laden to Abbottabad.
He was arrested soon after the U.S. commando raid on bin Laden's house and jailed for aiding a militant group.
He's now in Peshawar's Central Jail in solitary confinement and his brother Jamil says the U.S. is to blame.

"The U.S. should not have (done this), even if the doctor did the job for them. If someone does something for you, you keep it secret; you do not disgrace him in this manner. The role that the U.S. has played is deplorable,"
Shakil Afridi is a traitor in the eyes of Pakistan's powerful military.
And growing anti-U.S. sentiment there is making life stressful for family members just because they're related.

"For us, it has become a headache. All the burden has been thrown on us. No matter who has has done this, we are the ones who are suffering for it. Our entire family is disturbed. Our brother has been lost to us for a year. We are under severe stress,"
Afridi's in a jail where insurgents are also held.
He's under tight surveillance but his family and supporters are lobbying to get him moved to another prison.

"They do not allow anyone because it is a security risk. The jail superintendent himself told me that there are Taliban inside the Central jail. Others have told me there are many of them in there," said Jamil.
The federal government has yet to respond to the requests and Afridi's lawyers say they have lodged an appeal against the sentence.
