London: Pakistani community members have appealed to the community members and business organizations not to pay to any organization for what's known as "achievement awards". for the last few years many organizations have been active in Pakistani community in Britain charging the gullible community for pay as you go awards.
At an event organised by community leader Omar Malik and others, it was announced that Overseas Achievement awards will be launched within this year but it will be ensured that only genuine talent will be rewarded and no money will be charged for the awards. speakers said that the real aim of the awards shall be to honour those who have excelled in various fields but these days some fraud elements are selling awards in the name of Pakistan which is a very dangerous trend and must be stopped.
