Pakistan's controversial religious schools

The Pakistani government is once again trying to reform the country's religious schools, locally known as madrassas.

Critics argue that they have failed to teach students a wider curriculum, and have become a nursery for future extremists.

But those who run the schools, and the students themselves, strongly disagree.
