Description
About 5,000 other schools have become shelters for the displaced.
This means that children who were not affected by the floods will not be able to continue their education, at least for the time being.
The UN says it plans to meet schooling needs by setting up temporary learning spaces in camps, while the government of Sindh province announced plans to enroll students in cities unaffected by flood.
Al Jazeera's Zeina Khodr reports from Hyderabad, the second largest city in Sindh province.
