Here I sit consumed with guilt

On the floor, my conscience spilt

I’ll purge the madness from my heart

And ache to make the shame depart



I watch my life flow down the drain

Smiling at my released pain

I’ve purged emotion, let go of stress

Now I sit alone with emptiness



I’ll flush my eyes with anguish

And be fed with sweet despair

My body’s slowly dying

And I don’t seem to care



And there I stand relieved

Yet guilty nonetheless

This will be the last time.



I’m trapped in this sick mess
