Paddy harvesting in India

Paddy is cultivated twice a year in most parts of India . India is the largest paddy output in the world. The two crops of paddy are Rabi and Kharif. The Paddy fields requires large quantities of water for irrigation.The harvesting time of paddy is 140-150 days.Paddy is harvested during september to october.
