Pad Man

The film will be based on Twinkle Khanna's book, The Legend Of Lakshmi Prasad, which is inspired from the life of Arunachalam Muruganantham. Tamil Nadu-based social activist Arunachalam Muruganantham, revolutionized the concept of menstrual hygiene in rural India by creating a low-cost sanitary napkins machine. Padman movie revolves around the story of Arunachalam Muruganantham who invented low-cost sanitary pads. Radhika Apte plays the on-screen wife of Akshay's character, Lakshmikant Chauhan.
