Owner Defends His Dog Against Violent Attack

This is every pet owners nightmare coming true on the streets of Mexico City. Matthew Roberts was sweeping the sidewalk outside of his house while accompanied by his white Maltese terrier. The two enjoy a moment of peace until a loose pit bull runs up and grabs the small terrier by the lip. The pit bull's owner runs up to get involved in the horrific scene, but understandably the owner of the terrier is not happy. Reports say the terrier did sustain some injuries but was treated shortly after.
