Locate the bulb - The bulb is usually located in the back of the oven or inside the oven cavity. Consult your oven's manual if you're unsure where it is.
Remove the old bulb - Depending on your oven model, the bulb may be screwed in or held in place with a clip. If it's screwed in, gently turn the bulb counterclockwise to remove it. If it's held in place with a clip, use a screwdriver or pliers to carefully remove the clip and then pull out the bulb.
Check the bulb - Inspect the old bulb to see if it's burned out or damaged. If it's still functional, you may be able to reuse it in the future. However, it's recommended to replace it with a new one for optimal performance.
Install the new bulb - Insert the new bulb into the same housing as the old one, making sure it's securely in place. If it's a screw-in bulb, gently turn it clockwise until it's snug. If it's held in place with a clip, push it into the socket until it clicks into place.
Test the bulb - Plug in the oven or turn the power back on and turn on the oven light to make sure the new bulb is working properly.
