On today's show we have the highlights of this weekends IFC Lead World Cup in Imst, Austria.
Korea’s Jain Kim was the first athlete to reach the roof but didn’t have enough energy left to complete the sequence, she gets third place.
Veteran Slovenian climber Mina Markovic made it as far as Jain Kim but again couldn’t work out the crux section. She took second place based on accumulated points from the semi finals.
Austrian climber Magdalena Rock decided to takes a unique approach to the crux. She climbed higher than anyone else and claimed the gold medal.
In the men’s comp, French climber Gautier Supper controlled the growing pump well, but messed up the sequence on the upper crux. Although it was enough to get him into third place.
Austrian Jakob Shubert managed to use some heel hook beta and pushed through the upper section, although he fell well short of the chains and took second place.
Slovenian climber Domen Skofic again showed his form, using the same heel hook beta as Jakob but getting even further. His impressive performance meant he cruised into first place.
