Oscar winners could make big bucks

Winning an Oscar can earn you big money.

When Sandra Bullock bagged one in 2009, she was able to sign a deal to star in "Gravity" which is now paying off.

A second Oscar could be on the cards and millions of dollars might just end up floating around in her bank account.

That's according to Stephen Galloway from The Hollywood Reporter

"She had the leverage that she was coming off a huge hit with box office and critical acclaim, plus the Oscar. And she got a deal that nobody gets anymore. Which is 20 million dollars up front, against 15 percent of what's called first dollar."

And first means Bullock will get a share of the studio's multi-million dollar profits on 'Gravity'.

But it's not just an Oscars win that lets the big stars get the big deals.
