Presentation of different stages of an operation by FUE

1. Density is measured with a densitometer to prevent over harversting of thedonor region.
The goal is to preserve the donor area for future use if needed.
2. A local anesthesia is injected into the scalp in small quantities with a fine tip needle.
3. The follicular units are loosened with a 0.8 or 0.9 mm punch.
4. The follicular units are extracted using a micro-forcep.
After the follicular units are extracted, they are separated using microscope and conserved in a cool fluid.
5. The doctor makes the recipient site with Nocor needles under a local anesthetic.
The follicular units are placed into the recipient sites
with a fine tip placing forcep.
