OPEN THROAT SAXOPHONE SOUND
This quick 2-minute video show you the main technique to avoid tension in your body and achieve a big and relaxed sound on the saxophone.
Remember that the sound starts down in the diaphragm area and reaches the sound through the trachea? via the throat.
By using this simple ‘exhaling’ technique you will have a more relaxed body which means a less strangled sound and less tensed embouchure.
With less effort your throat will stay open allowing a massive free-flowing sound. Happy days!
