INVISIBLE PAIN


It's late at night
and the whole world sleeps,
but not a chance for her
she sits alone and weeps.

They're oblivious to
her feelings inside,
so the hurt and pain
she has to hide.

Would they care
if they had known?
how could they?
it's her problem alone.

So, alone she will stand
as always before,
hiding the tears and pain
that she's, so long bore.
