The cleansing
At a time like tomorrow
In the wee hours
A comet flew into the earth
A season like this, it flew
And the village raised eyebrows
For the Earth shook beneath
At the fall of the comet
Funny enough, it did not die
It ne'er dug deep
It remained closer to the crust
Just a shallow hollow
And a rotunda within
For collection and correction
For support and rapport
And it rained that season
And water converged
And people converged
And drunk of the water
From the rotunda
And they turned frenzy
A conformation
And they got sizzled
Later, recession nocked
Depleting the object
The rotunda was eaten away
And more and more water merged
And rained heavily
In that season
And water drained
And like a new wineskin
A fresh lake emerged
And fish lived
And people drank the water
Clean water from heaven
Clean water from the lake
